Run a business near a stop?
TransitCrafter is built from what riders tell us: problems on the road, stops that are missing, routes that should change. Your offer is a way to say thank you to the people who do this, and to ease the day when transport lets them down. You also meet people who live and travel nearby, and see exactly how many came in. It is free during the pilot.
1. Make an offer
A discount, a free item, a bundle, a free trial or a gift. Choose who gets it: every rider, riders who earned points, or riders in bad weather or a delay. Pick a daily limit.
2. Active riders find it
Riders who report problems, request stops and suggest route changes earn points. They spend them on your offer, or see it next to the stop near your business, and get a QR code that works for a few minutes.
3. Confirm with a phone
A member of your team opens the scanner on their own phone, scans the code and gives the reward: a discount at checkout, a free item, a free entry or a booking credit. No new hardware.
How we keep it fair for you
- Points are earned only from approved contributions: reports, stop and route requests, route suggestions and photos. A weak or suspicious contribution earns nothing, and a rider who is caught gaming it loses the points.
- Live reports, like a late bus or a long wait, are paid only when the data backs them up: another rider at the same stop confirms it, the vehicle feed agrees, or the rider has a proven record. They are location-checked and capped per day, so nobody can farm them.
- Offers that depend on weather or delays use the real weather and reports from several different riders. You agree once that these conditions may be met by riders reporting honestly.
- Each code is single use, expires fast and is tied to one rider. One open code per rider at a time.
- You set a daily cap and a per-rider limit. You can pause or end an offer any time.
- Suspicious activity is flagged to us, and we void points and codes before they cost you anything.
Any place a rider can walk to can take part: cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, clinics, salons, gyms, cinemas, museums, schools, hotels, repair and other services. Start from a ready-made idea or write your own offer from scratch. Setup takes about ten minutes.
